Mobile Checkout Co-Creator Appointed to Brain Trust Panel

FutureProof CEO Will Hogben has been appointed to RetailWire’s Brain Trust Panel.

RetailWire is the retail industry’s premier online discussion forum. Each business morning, RetailWire editors pick news topics worthy of commentary by its Brain Trust panel of industry experts. The results are virtual round tables of high-level industry opinion and advice.

Will Hogben, FutureProof Retail’s Lead Developer and CEO, brings extensive expertise and deep retail knowledge to the Brain Trust panel. Hogben currently leads a team at FutureProof Retail, developing Mobile Checkout, an easy-to-use shopping app that store owners can make available to their customers. With this app in hand, customers are enabled to walk the store, scanning items as they are placed in the cart. Once the shopping trip is complete, the consumer simply pushes a ‘check out’ button, and pays via their smartphone, credit/debit card, or Apple Pay.

Hogben’s first app was one of 500 that launched in the App Store, and his apps have been featured in the New York Times and #1 in Entertainment, voted Best in Category at CES, and received compliments from Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg.

“I am incredibly honored to join such a distinguished and influential panel of experts on the Brain Trust panel,” says Hogben. “I look forward to sharing my unique and purposeful ideas to help retailers succeed in an ever-changing market,” he finished.
